Who Wears The Pants?
So yesterday I went to JcPenny to pick up some jeans and shirts for my trip out to SF. Now, I am not a “clothes” person, so I do shopping about once a year, and that is for the GDC haha.
For those of you that know me, you know I am a bigger-built guy, however I am not fat. I just have wide hips, and running-back thighs, so finding clothes can be difficult. Needless to say, I am not able to wear boot-cut jeans, I can only fit into “loose” fitting ones… That is fine, I have nothing against loose-fitting jeans by any means, however do companies like JcPenny have to sell only FARMER-lookin’ loose fit jeans over 40×34 size?
Seriously though. Next time you are in a JcPenny, Target, or Kohl’s (all of which are quite the same) check out their jeans department. Notice how the stylish jeans are reserved for the smaller sizes and that once you get above 40×34 (which 40′s are even baggy on me, I just can’t fit my calves/quads into anything smaller than 40s!) most jeans are just the simple, dark (DARK) blue, cliche’ county boy jeans… Just irritates me
